The Calathea Freddy is native to Bolivia and is best-known for its ornamental leaves. Calatheas do not really tend to bloom indoors, and while their flowers are fairly beautiful, this is not too much of a nuisance considering that the plant is primarily grown as a houseplant on account of its incredibly attractive foliage.

The Freddy is a stunning variety with gorgeous stripey eaves.
